You know, watching movies, I always had a problem with prequels.  Filling in all the blank story that we assumed was there – and it was there, for all intents and purposes, because we the audience got to fill it with whatever the fuck we wanted.

Perhaps this should have been the first comic.

But as it turns out, this is the second one we finished.  So, whatever.

Anyway, it doesn’t matter, because with only one comic in the books up to this point, certainly we haven’t built up a story that is so engaging that you have already filled in the blanks by yourself.  In fact, this comic happens to be the VERY FIRST SIGHTING of both Robot and Ninja, two characters who, as I’m sure you’re aware by now, are fundamental to our little world here.

After all, why would only a Dinosaur and a Human live together?  How ridiculous, conceptually.  It’s obvious that the Dinosaur would eat the Human and that would be that.

But with all four, each balances out the other, like when you were a small child and you played Rock-Paper-Scissors-Dynamite.  Sure, the guy who played “Dynamite” was a dick, and sure, we would then beat him with our tiny balled-up fists for CHEATING, but what can we say?  He kept us all balanced, and he kept us from those annoying three-way stalemates where everyone beats everyone and loses at the same time.

(Okay, the kid that played Dynamite was me.  But seriously.  You think a rock or a piece of paper or a pair of scissors can stand up to the mighty blast of my Dynamite?  Please.)

But I digress.  And I seem to have forgotten what the original point of this now awfully rambly post was.

Oh yes.

Enjoy.
